Established in 2010, LIDOSK (Lykia Scouting and Nature Lovers Culture Association) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to youth empowerment and environmental sustainability. Our mission is to foster intercultural understanding, promote human rights, encourage active citizenship, and advocate for a healthy lifestyle while emphasizing the importance of environmental protection.
At LIDOSK, we believe in the power of experiential learning and hands-on activities to inspire young individuals to become responsible global citizens. Through our participation in various Erasmus+ projects such as KA1, KA2, KA3, Sports projects, European Solidarity Corps projects, Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurship program, as well as nature-oriented activities like school camps, we actively engage youth in meaningful experiences that contribute to their personal development and overall well-being.
Our activities range from awareness-raising campaigns to intercultural events, sports tournaments, Preservation of Caretta Caretta Sea Turtles in Demre, Antalya with our local and international volunteers, conferences, training courses, youth exchanges, and volunteering programs. We also leverage digital platforms and social media trends to reach a wider audience and enhance the impact of our projects and initiatives.
One of our key approaches is the Youth Action approach, which empowers young people to take proactive steps to address social, environmental, and cultural challenges in their communities and beyond. By providing a platform for creativity, collaboration, and impactful action, we enable youth to make positive changes in their lives and contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive world.
Through strategic partnerships, capacity building initiatives, and continuous learning, LIDOSK remains committed to creating a better future for youth and promoting a culture of environmental stewardship and global citizenship.
